Antecedents of Domestic Tourist Visit Intention: An Insight From Ijen Crater Indonesia

Purpose: This research examines the relationship between expectation, perceived value, social and visit intention in Indonesia's Ijen Crater, a renowned destination. Additionally, it sought to examine whether Crater's uniqueness could attract tourists’ interest visiting location. Theoretical framework: study uses theoretical basis of consumer behavior measure tourists through their values. Design/Methodology/Approach: The purposive sampling method was used select participants aged 17-35 who have never visited Crater. Out 248 responses collected an online survey, 240 were evaluated using PLS-SEM analysis process. A quantitative exploratory technique employed investigate Indonesian region. Findings: results showed that values, expectations, values positively influence visit. However, expectations did not significantly Research, practical & implications: Based on findings, our emphasizes media is able introduce these tourist attractions more broadly public so people are see beauty meaningful experiences. Originality/Value: research's originality lies demonstrating destinations unable showcase cannot generate motivating Moreover, offering core can only provide with pleasure attending festivals, which complement tourism.
